Conservation Areas

The Conservation Area in Higham Ferrers stretches along the High Street from the Northampton Road in the south to Kimbolton Road in the north. Please look at the map to see the extent of the area.

The Conservation Area is very important and imposes a number of additional controls within it. These include:
- all property extensions including conservatories
- TV and satellite aerials
- tree work
- permission required for demolition of a property.
