Ferrers and Rushden Tennis Club (probably the friendliest tennis club in the world!)

We can be found on Higham Ferrers recreation ground just off Wharf Road and are made up of about 40 members There are social tennis club sessions on Sunday mornings 10.00am to 12 noon which are held all year round (yes, all year round but we'll let you have a day off at Christmas!) and Wednesday evenings 6.30pm to 8.30pm from 24/4/19 to mid September. Subs are pay/play £2.50 adults or £1.50 juniors(aged 10 +) per club session or as an alternative option £45/£25 lump sum to cover the whole of the summer.

All abilities are present but the main objective is to play a game that we all love, have lots of fun and exercise and do a bit of socialising with fellow members . We could do with a few more ladies to balance the membership out with the men, but all prospective new members are very welcome.

For those who like a more serious game of tennis we can help with that – we have a number of teams playing in the East Northants and Northampton Tennis leagues which will test your tennis skills if you want that type of tennis.

We have junior coaching programmes for children aged 4 to 15 provided in partnership with a fully qualified coaching organisation so if you want, you can come along and watch your young ones get coaching from experts.
