Bee-Squared Project

Bee-Squared Project

Higham Ferrers' "Bee Squared Project" is moving on at a pace. All the seeds have now been packaged (nearly 2500) and are ready for distribution on March 18th at the three primary schools - Higham Ferrers Junior School, Henry Chichele School and Higham Ferrers Nursery and Infant School. In addition, The Ferrers School is also taking part this year. Cllr Gerald Kelly and Cllr Vijay Paul (Deputy Mayor) are looking forward to delivering the seeds and meeting with the representatives of the schools.

The public can also join in with the "Bee Squared Project" to specifically help solitary bees survive by adding a square metre of bee loving plants to their gardens, as there will be packets of seeds available form local shops and from the Higham Ferrers' Town Hall the following week.
