We now have our volunteer management app up and running.
This app manages the whole process from Applying through to selecting which shifts you wish to do, and notifying us when you can't attend. So what are you waiting for. Library Volunteers - We need people to open the Library at designated times, The role for the library may develop but at the moment we need 2 volunteers per library session.
- Library Volunteer - You meet and greet people, help them choose a book if necessary, make them a drink if they want one, sit and talk to them if that is what they need. Sort the books, clean the room as and when necessary.
Wellbeing Hub - As the Library grows we will be looking to develop the wellbeing side of the library, and will need volunteers to facilitate sessions as well as people to support the facilitators.
- Wellbeing Hub - We will be running groups and clubs, and we will require 2 people for these. One to facilitate the group and the other to support the facilitator.
- Group facilitator, - gets the room ready, for the group, plans the session, organises materials and any equipment needed and leads the session.
- Facilitator support, - supports the facilitator in running the event. Makes the drinks and helps with 1-1 support if required.

The above list is just a few of the ideas that have been put forward. If you think you can help by volunteering to run or support any of these groups please follow the link on our website to the Volunteer application form. You are welcome to suggest any of your own ideas as well.
In an attempt to work towards a paperless office, we have decided to use Volunteero to manage our vounteer program. Please bear in mind, there is no option to save the form and it askes you for 2 references so have these ready before you start the form. You will need a name and an email address for the refree.
